Overview of the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient FX Liquidity Platform Engineer with deep hands‑on experience in the retail and institutional FX brokerage infrastructure. This is a hybrid, hands‑on role combining advanced technical diagnostics (FIX, Network) with critical operational and financial responsibilities (Reconciliation, Onboarding). You will be responsible for the configuration, rapid diagnosis, and seamless operation of our core Liquidity Hubs.
Key Responsibilities (Hands‑on Focus)
- Full Onboarding Lifecycle: End‑to‑end configuration and deployment of new institutional client connections, including Direct FIX Connectors, MT4/MT5 Bridge Connectors, and Giveup (Dropcopy) Connections for reporting.
- Hub Administration: Daily monitoring, maintenance, and assurance of 99.9% uptime for critical Liquidity Hubs.
- Conformance Testing (Critical): Execution of the full Conformance Testing cycle for both Taker API and Maker API across OneZero (OZ) and PrimeXM (PXM) to ensure new partner readiness.
- FIX Protocol Expertise: In‑depth knowledge of FIX Protocol (message structure, tags, sessions) and advanced troubleshooting of FIX connectivity issues.
- Network & Latency Diagnostics: Rapid identification and resolution of network latency issues, utilizing tools like traceroute and telnet tests to diagnose TCP/IP connectivity.
- API Systems: Troubleshooting and performing connectivity tests for integrations based on REST API and messaging queues (RabbitMQ or Kafka).
- Emergency Management: Execution of escalation procedures, quick reaction, and effective troubleshooting during critical system outages.
- Reconciliation: Conducting critical daily reconciliation of the Coverage Account against the Margin Account within the Hubs.
- Process Ownership: Full handling of Compensation Cases from initial analysis through to final settlement (A‑Z).
- Reporting: Generation of comprehensive Volume Reports from Hub UIs (ARMS / PXM / Centroid UI) and creating custom reports, utilizing database queries where necessary.
Mandatory Technical Requirements (Must‑Have)
- Hubs Expertise (Critical): Direct, hands‑on experience with any of the key Liquidity Hubs: OneZero (OZ), PrimeXM (PXM), Centroid, or FXCubic.
- Connectivity & Protocol: Expert level knowledge of FIX Protocol and practical experience with REST API / RabbitMQ (or Kafka).
- Trading Systems: Proven experience with MT4/MT5 Connector/Bridge technology and administration.
- Diagnostics: Proven network troubleshooting skills (e.g., using traceroute, telnet) and Latency monitoring.
- Experience in the FinTech sector – Must have.
- English – B2 (Upper Intermediate or higher).
Highly Valued (Strong Advantage)
- Advanced knowledge of MySQL for complex querying, custom reporting, and Reconciliation tasks.
- Certification or extensive experience in MetaTrader Administration.
- Experience with monitoring systems (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana, Geneos).
