Our Client is currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Junior Cloud Operations Engineer to join their dynamic technical team. This ambitious, energetic specialist is seeking accelerated learning through the Synextra Academy, and is ready to support BAU in Azure under expert guidance and work a flexible schedule. You will work with the latest technology and leading brands in a team where everyone has a passion for technology. This will be a hands-on, fast-paced role that will provide endless opportunities to develop new skills and get involved in projects across the business.

About the role
- Measurable progress via the Synextra Academy, our in-house training programme. Made to help direct your career growth.
- Support BAU across the Azure stack, learning how to deliver, operate and improve real customer environments (with expert guidance).
- Exposure to wider MSP/ISP tech.
- No two days are the same: varied tickets, small projects, troubleshooting and plenty of chances to build real-world skills under supervision.
- Work from our modern Warrington office, 8.5h/day, MonβFri.
- Shift rotation and Twilight shift allowance: occasional 'up to midnight' weeks. This is to support customer coverage while protecting teams work-life balance.
- Out-of-hours work involved (on-call, overtime).
Essential skills required
- Solid grounding in IT fundamentals: networking basics, operating systems and virtualisation concepts.
- Familiarity with public cloud concepts.
- Basic understanding of cyber security principles.
- Genuine enthusiasm for hands-on learning (home lab, certifications, projects, GitHub, or Uni projects all count).
- Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable speaking with customers (with support from seniors).
