Social Value Specialist (18 month fixed term) Here at Ongo, we believe everyone has the potential to be great. It’s what drives us to come to work and do our jobs every day. As our new Social Value Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of this mission, turning promises into action and data into stories that inspire and part of a values-driven organisation that puts people and communities first, working on projects that change lives and build futures. The role We are offering a salary of £30,078 to join our small, friendly, and busy team for 37 hours per week on a fixed term 18-month contract and: Lead the way in managing and monitoring social value commitments from our suppliers and partners. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects that support local employment, skills development, and community growth. Create impact by producing compelling case studies, reports, and social media content that showcase the difference we’re making. Champion sustainability by supporting initiatives that tackle environmental challenges and promote ethical business practices. What we are looking for A passion for corporate responsibility, social impact, and sustainability. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. A creative flair for social media marketing, including Canva and video editing tools. Analytical thinking to measure and report on outcomes using tools like the HACT calculator.
