This is a role working for Ongo.
Overall Purpose of Job
Your job is to collect all types of stock condition and compliance data for all Ongo properties, and assist in effective asset management planning and delivery.

Main Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections to properties owned by Ongo and record attributes and their condition.
- Inspect properties during Void periods to assess and process required works prior to reletting.
- Carry out inspections to properties post works to ensure required standards have been met.
- Using gathered data assist in developing improvement schedules for putting into programs of work.
- Participate in the development and implementation of asset management systems achieving continuous improvement and value for money.
- Help to develop new methods of gathering data and delivering improvement work.
- Collect RDSAP data for the energy rating and EPC production for dwellings.
- Carry out Housing Health and Safety rating system surveys.
- Undertake compliance checks and surveys for fire risk and asbestos.
- Give advice to tenants and other staff members on technical matters and stock condition.
- Assist with the administrative works involved in keeping stock condition data up to date on the asset management database.
- Undertake surveys of the open environment to assist with grounds maintenance, tree and shrub maintenance and the maintenance of roads, footpaths and other external items.
- The post holder will be expected to be aware of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children and report any concerns via Ongo’s Safeguarding policies and procedures.
Knowledge Skills and Experience Required
- A formal qualification in a construction related area such as HNC/HND or similar (desirable).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a building related surveying role or Retrofit Coordination and Risk Assessment Qualification.
- Computer literate and conversant with Microsoft office applications.
- Conversant with Health & Safety regulations.
- Working knowledge of HHSRS, RDSAP, FRA, Decent Homes standards.
