Location: Scunthorpe

Pay: £12.41 – £12.61 per hour (DOE)

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent, Part-Time

Start Date: End of February / Early March

Hours: Part-time, rota-based (hours can vary across 7 days, typically between 8am–10pm)

Training: Full training provided

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, who provides essential accommodation and support to vulnerable adults. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and confident working in a sensitive environment where safeguarding is a priority.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcoming and checking in residents referred by local authorities
  • Logging maintenance issues and welfare concerns accurately
  • Supervising daily activities within communal areas
  • Liaising with property management and support teams
  • Maintaining safeguarding standards and professional boundaries at all times
  • Supporting the business with additional tasks as required - including occasional cleaning during staff shortages

What We’re Looking For

  • A calm, friendly, and professional approach
  • Strong administrative and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and support with different tasks when needed
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults or in supported housing, hospitality, or other public‑facing roles (highly beneficial)
  • Enhanced DBS preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Ability to work confidently in an environment supporting vulnerable individuals
