Job Title: Flexographic Printer Location: Grimsby Work Type: Full-time One of the UKs largest manufacturers of flexible packaging, are looking to recruit an experienced Flexographic Printer . Experience of operating Bobst presses is desirable but not required. You will enjoy a continental shift pattern working 12.25 hour shifts, 5:45am to 6pm or 5:45pm to 6am, working 7 days over a 2-week pattern. A highly competitive pay rate per hour, depending on experience and departmental responsibility, plus a quarterly site bonus scheme. Overtime at time and a half is available when required As a qualified printer, you will be responsible for the following: Setting up and running an 8-colour flexographic printing press Monitoring and controlling print quality Optimising press speeds Efficiently dealing with print faults Highlighting print defects through print manager Managing ink levels Accurately capturing data Enhancing knowledge and training within the department Complying with site procedures Maintaining good housekeeping on the presses We are looking for the following qualities in a successful candidate: Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Excellent time keeping and attendance Friendly and positive attitude Good organisational skills Accountability for role and product Company benefits: 21 days holiday per year Company pension and bonus scheme Life assurance scheme Overtime Free, onsite parking Full provision of uniform and PPE Cycle to work scheme Free hot drinks JBRP1_UKTJ
