Property Information Coordinator
Team: Building Safety & Compliance
Reports to: Building Safety & Compliance Manager
Location: Ongo House/Remote
Salary: £38,000
Contract: Full Time 12 Month Contract
Closing date: 18th November
About the role
We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Property Information Coordinator to help teams across our Property Directorate maintain accurate, accessible and reliable information about our homes and associated assets. You will bring together property, compliance, repairs, disrepair and asset records, identify gaps or risks, and ensure actions are tracked through to resolution. Your work will provide the clear evidence and insight colleagues need to deliver safe, effective services and make informed decisions.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinating the collection, organisation and updating of property, asset, servicing, inspection, certification and warranty information.
- Obtaining, cataloguing and quality-checking compliance records across areas including gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, water hygiene, lifts, alarms and building safety.
- Checking data for completeness, accuracy, currency and consistency, while maintaining clear evidence and audit trails.
- Maintaining data-quality trackers, risk and issue logs, action plans, evidence registers and progress dashboards.
- Working with internal teams, consultants and contractors to agree data ownership, resolve gaps and improve information sharing.
- Escalating missing, conflicting or potentially unsafe information promptly and supporting agreed corrective action.
What we’re looking for
- Experience coordinating complex property, asset, compliance or operational data in housing, property, construction or another regulated environment.
- A strong understanding of social housing property services and the records that support repairs, compliance, planned investment, disrepair, damp and mould, and building safety.
- Proven ability to reconcile information from multiple sources, identify gaps and maintain accurate records and audit trails.
- Advanced spreadsheet and data-management skills, with the ability to organise large datasets and produce clear dashboards.
- Excellent project coordination, prioritisation and document-control skills.
- A confident, constructive communication style and the ability to build effective working relationships.
A relevant housing, property, compliance, asset management, data or project qualification would be an advantage, although equivalent practical experience is equally welcome. The role may involve travel to offices, properties and partner locations, and lone working arrangements will apply where required.
