The Role

We are looking for a Catering Assistant for our on‑site catering team at Rothes Halls. The position involves operating the café, preparing and serving food and beverages, recording payments, and performing general kitchen, bar, and dining room duties. You will also ensure that all working and public areas are kept safe and provide visitor engagement and support. The role is for 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 10.30 am – 2.30 pm, with flexibility required to meet business needs, including potential weekend and evening work.

Previous experience in a similar role is required, and knowledge of health and safety requirements relevant to catering is desirable. A team‑player attitude, energy, good literacy and numeracy skills, and a positive "can‑do" approach are essential. Experience in a bar setting is preferred but not essential.
