The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cultural Services Assistant to join our team within Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries. The post is for 18 hours and is fixed term for 6 months. You will have a basic work pattern; however, your days of working will flex to meet the business needs when required and will include weekend working.
You will work as part of a team and be the first point of contact for visitors to our libraries, reading room, museum, and galleries as well as our shop. The role varies from day to day and would suit someone who loves books, culture and helping support our community to access a range of resources.
We are looking for someone who puts the customer first, strives to provide an excellent experience to customers and visitors and who has a can-do attitude. We want you to have a flexible attitude and a willingness to learn. Flexibility will be required, and access to transport is necessary, as there may be travel throughout the region.
