Role

As Assistant Venue Manager, you will be the key leader within Carnegie Hall, overseeing the day‑to‑day operation of the venue and ensuring the delivery of outstanding experiences for audiences, artists, promoters, and partners.

  • Operate independently, making informed decisions in the absence of a permanent senior manager.
  • Own operational requirements, including health & safety, compliance, licensing, safeguarding, procedures, and administration.
  • Manage rotas, budgets, and financial tasks while supporting programming activity.
  • Serve as the front‑facing figure promoting services within Carnegie Hall.
  • Lead people management and oversee the performance of the team.
  • Deliver full‑time hours with flexible scheduling that may include weekends and evenings.

About You

  • Experienced people manager with a passion for excellent customer service, ideally within a hospitality or visitor/customer‑facing venue.
  • Strong IT skills and understanding of health & safety in the workplace.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and enjoy taking on challenging responsibilities.
