Overview
My leading Client is an M&E Facilities Management Company and they are seeking a Senior HVAC Engineer to cover the South East area. They are winning many contracts right now so this is a great time to be joining them.
Duties:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration units.
- Diagnose faults and perform reactive repairs on HVAC equipment at various client sites.
- Install, commission, and test HVAC systems in line with manufacturer guidelines and regulations.
- Service equipment such as AHUs, VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, and fan coil units.
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations, F-Gas regulations, gas safe and industry standards.
- Complete service reports, risk assessments, and maintenance records accurately using digital or paper systems.
- Respond to emergency call-outs and breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Manage van stock, tools, and spare parts efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with clients, site managers, and the helpdesk.
- Identify and report potential issues or opportunities for system improvements or energy efficiency.
- Work independently while coordinating with other engineers and subcontractors when required.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times.
Experience:
- Strong Experience in 2 trades - Gas/HVAC - Electrical/HVAC - Gas/Electrical.
- Strong Understanding of BMS systems (Specific Training will be provided).
- Understanding of refrigeration recovery systems.
- At least 5 years experience working in the UK HVAC industry.
