About Onetrace Great products start with great people. Our focus on user experience has helped us become the leading software for fire protection subcontractors across the UK. We build tools that actually work on the ground — fast, intuitive, and simple to use. Onetrace is growing quickly, recognised as one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK and in London’s construction sector. We’re bootstrapped, profitable, and on a mission to become a global ConTech leader. Join a smart, ambitious team where your ideas matter and your work shapes what’s next.

What you’ll do This is a brand-new role created to unlock the full potential of motion and video across our company. Working closely with our marketing, design and commercial teams, you'll own motion end-to-end, creating high-impact content across campaigns, product launches, social, events and brand initiatives while defining the creative direction and motion language that will support our continued growth.

What this means day-to-day:

  • Own motion and video production end-to-end, from concept through to delivery, creating a continuous stream of high-quality content across campaigns, product launches, social, events and brand initiatives.
  • Build and evolve Onetrace's motion language, defining the principles, pacing and style that make our brand instantly recognisable in motion.
  • Proactively identify opportunities where motion can increase engagement, improve product understanding or strengthen our brand, rather than waiting for briefs.
  • Create engaging animations, motion graphics and promotional videos for social media, digital campaigns, email, product marketing and exhibitions.
  • Turn complex product features and workflows into clear, compelling motion content that informs and engages.
  • Lead video editing, colour grading, sound design and final asset delivery, ensuring every piece meets a high creative standard.
  • Partner closely with marketing, commercial teams and external agencies to deliver impactful creative that supports business goals.
  • Take ownership of project quality, timelines and delivery standards, helping establish scalable motion design processes as the function grows.
  • Explore and adopt new creative tools, including AI-powered workflows, to improve efficiency, experimentation and the quality of our motion output.
  • You're comfortable making decisions, managing priorities and taking responsibility for outcomes.

What you’ll bring

Essential

  • You have worked in a high-growth or scaling SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience using Figma, After Effects and Premier Pro.
  • Experience and knowledge of 3D tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender for product mockups and abstract tech visuals.
  • Ability to animate product interfaces, dashboards, and software workflows cleanly and accurately.
  • Experience pulling static vector assets and UI components directly from product design files.
  • Knowledge of aspect ratios, compression, and file-size constraints for web, email, and paid media.
  • Capability to map out frame‑by‑frame visual concepts.
  • Ability to make complex or technical topics visually engaging and easy to understand.
  • Openness to iterating and tweaking animations based on performance metrics, A/B test results, and click‑through rates.
  • Comfort working in fast‑paced sprint cycles with marketing campaign deadlines.
  • Confident and comfortable working cross‑functionally.
  • Resilient to adjust creative work based on brand guidelines and stakeholder feedback.

Desirable

  • Basic frontend coding skills in HTML or CSS.
  • Skilled in AI tool integrations to accelerate concept exploration and mood‑boarding phases.
  • Experience working with external agencies.

Hybrid guidelines We operate a hybrid working model, with a minimum expectation of 3 days per week in the office. This is a core part of how the role works and isn’t something we’re flexible on.
