We are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Sales Director to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the strategic growth of our sales department, overseeing the development and execution of our sales strategy, and leading a high-performing team.

Position Overview:

As the Group Sales Director, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic growth of our sales department, overseeing the development and execution of our sales strategy, and leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SaaS sales, a strong background in the healthcare industry, and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse sales team to achieve ambitious revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Leadership:
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing, CCO, and SLT to implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives and growth targets in the UK and Ireland healthcare market.
  • Team Management & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team, providing ongoing training, support, and development opportunities to ensure individual and team success.
  • Revenue Growth:
  • Drive sales performance and accelerate revenue growth across multiple segments, focusing on both existing customers and new business acquisitions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless and unified approach to go-to-market strategies and customer engagement.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports to the CCO and executive team, identifying opportunities and challenges in real-time. Extensive use of the CRM report and analysis of the data.
  • Customer Insights & Market Intelligence:
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to continuously adapt the sales strategy and position the company as a market leader.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closing:
  • Lead high-value negotiations, ensuring deals are structured to deliver maximum value for both the customer and the company.
  • Key Account Management:
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key strategic accounts and partners, ensuring long-term success and retention.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven Experience:
  • Experience in sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role within SaaS or healthcare technology industries.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare sector, specifically home and residential care, social care for adults and children, particularly in the UK and Ireland, and experience selling software solutions to healthcare providers and organisations.
  • Leadership Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management experience with a track record of building, developing, and motivating sales teams to exceed targets.
  • Sales Expertise:
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales, including developing sales strategies, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals. Contract Management from Quote to Signing

  • Ability to analyse sales data, market trends, and customer insights to develop and refine sales strategies.
  • Communication Skills:

  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving ambitious revenue targets.
  • Education:
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in business, healthcare, or a related field.

  • Experience in the UK and Ireland healthcare technology market.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales performance analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and challenges in the region.
