We're on the hunt for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team on-site in Leigh-on-Sea. In this hands-on role, you’ll take charge of maintenance, repairs, and servicing of on-site equipment while working closely with a dedicated in-house engineering team.

What we’re after:

  • A seasoned pro with solid experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering—someone who can hit the ground running and keep things moving.

In this role you will:

  • Attend all mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment and building problems
  • Carry out safety tests as required
  • Start up and shut down processing plant, equipment and facilities
  • Undertake a programme of planned preventative maintenance ensuring optimum use and minimum downtime
  • Carry out duties as laid down in BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 / 14001 Local Working Instructions and Company Operations Manual which may be updated from time to time
  • Support with building maintenance and other ad hoc tasks
  • Any other ad hoc tasks

This role offers a range of benefits including:

  • Full Time, Permanent Position £41,000 PA
  • Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning per month
  • For PPM tasks - paid at overtime
  • Main work pattern Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, 07:00 to 14:00 on a Friday
