Air Export Import Coordinator
Manchester, Altrincham | up to £38,000 | Mon -Fri 9am – 5:30
About the Role
Our successful client is looking to expand their busy airfreight team in Manchester and are seeking a proactive Air Export Coordinator to manage shipments from start to finish. While your primary focus will be on air exports, you’ll also support air imports during peak periods to ensure customers and overseas partners receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quotations and export documentation
- Complete customs declarations accurately
- Track shipments and follow up on Pre-Alerts/Post Flights
- Authenticate supplier invoices and complete customer invoicing
- Ensure accurate cost entry for financial reporting
- Record correspondence in eDocs
- Resolve shipment and invoice queries
- Promote additional services to clients
- Follow internal SOPs and workflow tasks promptly
- Understand Deferment and Government Gateway procedures
What you’ll need to have
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Effective time management and commercial awareness
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience in freight forwarding or air operations
- CW1 experience is a plus (training provided if needed)
