Marketing & Communications Officer (Temporary)
Benfleet, Essex | £16.30 per hour | Monday to Thursday 32 hours per week
Temporary assignment until the end of October (with the possibility of extension)
Are you an organised, creative and proactive marketing professional looking for a varied role where you can combine event management, communications and marketing?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing & Communications Officer to join a busy marketing team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on the planning and delivery of major recruitment and celebration events while supporting a range of marketing and communications activities.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organise and coordinate large-scale corporate events, ceremonies, and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring successful delivery from concept through to completion.
Produce and manage marketing materials such as brochures, event literature and promotional collateral.
Develop and deliver internal and external communications campaigns.
Measure and analyse the effectiveness of events and marketing activities.
Manage attendee databases, mailing lists and follow-up communications.
Liaise with internal departments, suppliers and external stakeholders.
Coordinate the distribution of marketing materials across a variety of channels.
Assist with photography, video and content creation activities.
Contribute fresh ideas to improve marketing initiatives.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience within marketing, events, communications
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience coordinating events from planning through to delivery.
The ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
Confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
A creative and proactive approach.
Current DBS
Additional Information
