Quality Control Technician
Southend | Permanent | Mon to Fri - 37.5 hours per week
Our client, a leading provider of managed equipment services across the UK, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team based in Southend-on-Sea.
Full training will be given for this role to candidates who can follow processes/technical manuals and can identify defects in workmanship. Candidates with previous experience in quality control or an inspection related role would be an advantage.
- Assessment, partial disassembly, repair, and function testing
- Incoming inspection & fault finding of various types of related products
- Preparation of inspection reports to guide workshops on repair requirement
- Final inspection, testing and packing of repaired products
- Using PC equipment for the recording of technical information and other tasks associated with department activity (goods receipt/despatch)
- Communicating with workshop and logistics staff
- Ensure all work is completed to Quality Management System requirements
- Maintaining company and personal quality goals and objectives
- Administrative duties relating to the repair process
- Provide service report updates to team support functions
