Housing Income Management Officer

We are looking for an experienced Housing Income Management Officer to support residents with rent accounts, arrears and income-related issues. You will work directly with customers, carry out home visits and work with other teams to help manage rent arrears and maximise income.
Key responsibilities:
Manage rent arrears on current and former tenant accounts.
Contact residents to discuss outstanding rent and agree repayment arrangements.
Take appropriate action to recover unpaid rent, following relevant procedures.
Support residents to maximise income through welfare benefits advice and referrals.
Prepare notices, legal documents and court reports relating to rent arrears.
Attend court hearings and support eviction proceedings when required.
Carry out home visits and meet residents face-to-face.
Work with housing, tenancy management and support teams to resolve rent arrears.
