OneStream is looking for a Manager, Proposal Services to lead our EMEA proposal writing team in managing high-stakes RFI/RFP projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will focus on continuous improvement, develop proposal templates, and efficiently manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities- Manage a team of EMEA proposal writers, overseeing high-stakes RFI/RFP projects from initial sales receipt through final submission, ensuring timely and compliant responses.
- Balance hands-on proposal ownership with active mentorship, leading by example to guide the team, reinforce best practices, and continuously improve proposal processes.
- Strategically coordinate RFX request assignments and manage internal deadlines to deliver high-quality, compliant responses.
- Actively participate in team alignment calls and strategy discussions to clarify the scope of work, gather business insights, establish internal milestones, identify key messages and differentiators, and develop compelling win themes.
- Oversee internal-facing collateral, fostering alignment, and enhancing efficiency within the team.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail while driving effective communication between the Proposal team and other departments, influencing stakeholders, and enhancing collaboration.
- Help the Content Manager maintain and improve the proposal knowledge library.
- Develop and sustain proposal templates, tools, and knowledge repositories that foster ongoing improvement in our proposal processes.
- Proactively manage multiple proposal assignments and additional tasks as necessary, thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- 3-5+ years of experience managing complex proposals in a fast-paced, B2B environment.
- 1-3+ years of people management experience.
- Previous experience working in SaaS/Software.
- Bilingual in French preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, English, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience as a proposal manager.
- Understanding of cloud/SaaS technology.
- Experience with salesforce.com.
- Experience with Ombud or other proposal software.
- Able to effectively prioritize multiple, competing, high-priority RFI/RFP responses.
- Self-motivated and self-managed, with an ownership mentality.
- Excellent communicator (written and oral), able to translate complicated ideas into language easily understood by others.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strict attention to detail and accuracy, and superior project and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders at a given time.
- Team player, able to work both collaboratively and independently.
This role will manage a team of EMEA Proposal Writers to ensure adequate balance of workload and assignment of incoming RFX Requests. Develop and motivate staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and performance.
