OneStream is looking for a Manager of Treasury and Collections to join our Accounting team. The Manager, Treasury & Collections, will be responsible for managing day-to-day treasury responsibilities along supervising the Accounts Receivable team. This can include global bank account management, global cash forecasting, managing global customer relationships and managing communication with internal and external teams. This role at OneStream will allow you to assist in managing our profitability and make a difference daily.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Treasury Management: Monitor daily cash positions and execute cash management strategies to meet the company's financial needs. Optimize and improve cash forecasting and cash flow analysis processes to provide data for capital allocation and strategic decision-making. Assist with tracking, measurement and communication of earnout processes. Prepare bank compliance and other reporting for lenders and Private Equity partners. Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate risk, market risk, liquidity risk and business risks (flows, demographics). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve forecasting and to ensure alignment with the company's risk appetite.
- Collections Management: Develop and implement effective collections strategies to minimize outstanding receivables and optimize cash flow. Review and prioritize outstanding accounts, determining appropriate collection actions and strategies. Partner with sales and ensure smooth customer onboarding. Manage customer interactions regarding payment terms, disputes, and resolutions while maintaining a professional demeanor. Analyze team performance metrics, preparing reports for management on collection efficiency and outcomes. Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Identify and resolve complex issues related to accounts receivable and collections processes. Conduct ongoing training sessions for the collections team to improve skills and knowledge in collections techniques to support company objectives.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administrations, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent field).
- 5+ years Treasury, Accounting, Collections or other finance related experience.
- 2+ years of managing an Accounts Receivable or Treasury team.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Collections software.
- Experience of working with large amounts of data.
- Strong analytical and presentational skills.
- Strong team management, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and reviewing month end financial information.
- Excellent communication skills in dealing with internal and external customers and business partners.
- Strong experience with bank reconciliations.
- Knowledge of banking systems and experience with wire and ACH templates.
- Self-motivation and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices related to accounts receivable.
- Analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- Leadership abilities to motivate and manage a team.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will have supervisory responsibilities for up to 2+ team members.
Travel
This position requires less than 10% travel.
