We're looking for a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing team.

You will help deliver engaging digital experiences that connect with customers, strengthen brand awareness, and support business growth.

Working across multiple digital channels, you'll use customer insights and performance data to optimise campaigns, enhance engagement, and drive continuous improvement in our digital marketing activity.

  • Plan and execute the digital content strategy in line with our comms plan for customer and franchise and ensure the correct channels are used to meet audience needs.
  • Manage end-to-end email campaigns, including planning, coordinating, set-up, segmenting, targeting, testing, reporting and optimisation.
  • Develop and maintain the email marketing test plans, launch tests, analyse and report test results.
  • Track and analyse all email performance and provide recommendations based on customer trends and behaviour in conjunction with our target audiences.
  • Implement and contribute to the strategy for the One Stop and Franchise website, working to enhance the user experience, ensuring our content is optimised, accurate, compelling for the audience and on-brand.
  • Implement day-to-day updates of our content management system (CMS) including promotional, seasonal, ad hoc & inspirational campaigns and updates.
  • Plan and execute engaging and relevant customer campaigns on digital platforms including gamification, analysing findings and using results for future campaigns and growth.
  • Use CRM to maximise digital marketing opportunities.
  • Execute Mobile and Digital display ad campaigns & provide recommendations for best performing ROI
  • Responsible for our SEO for both Franchise and Core ensuring that its regularly updated through SEO tracking programs.
  • Ensure that the data transfer process, data hygiene, GDPR opt-out compliance and contact management is effective, compliant & optimise.
  • Provide reports to the business on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with in-house teams to create compelling concepts and creative.
  • Manage internal & external stakeholders building strong relationships with key Tesco colleagues, & the in-house creative team.
  • Keep abreast of digital platforms and innovation to ensure that the brand maintains competitive advantage.
  • Work alongside digital team members to ensure that our digital content is consistent, up to date and on-brand.
  • Work closely with and report to the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure our digital channels are playing their role in the customer journey
  • Marketing degree, CIM or similar qualification
  • Ideally a commercial / FMCG, e communication marketing background
  • Analytical, with data-lead approach
  • Good analysis / numerical skills
  • Good time management, planning and organisation skills
  • Knowledge of the convenience retail sector
  • Experience with email, SEO, PPC, product catalogue and CMS systems
  • Experience in building strong relationships and managing stakeholders
