Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a new HGV class 1 driver to join our team based in Newarthill, Motherwell. You will be working within the powered access hire industry where you will struggle to find two days the same. Although challenging at times, the job is 100% rewarding. We require your personal love of driving along with exceptional customer service.

To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
- You will be a fully competent HGV driver with a licence.
- Preferably a clean driving licence with Driver CPC and Digital Driver Card is desirable.
- Experience with moving powered access is desirable.
- Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues.

Responsibilities:
- Drive trucks to transport goods over short or long distances.
- Load and unload powered access machinery.
- Follow safety regulations and traffic laws and company policies.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns.
- Meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Commercial Driving Licence (preferably Class 1).
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver.
- Familiarity with flatbed trucks is advantageous.
- Excellent driving record.
- Ability to drive in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous experience as a powered access delivery driver is a plus.
