Overview

OneSchool Global UK Swaffham Campus invites applications for a part-time SENDCo (0.5 FTE, 18.75 hours per week). The SENDCo has day-to-day responsibility for the operation of SEN policy and coordination of provision to support individual students with SEN, including those with EHC plans. The role is both operational and strategic, working with colleagues, families, the local authority, external agencies and other education providers.

The Position

We have the opportunity for a SENDCo to join our Swaffham Campus on a permanent part-time basis. The role relies on distributed leadership to support students with SEND.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with a wide range of SEN and leading a team. You must have Qualified Teacher Status (at least 4 years) and NASENCO or NPQSENCO qualification. You should be comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies including video conferencing and online resources.
