We have a fantastic opportunity for a Modernisation Programme Manager to join the team on a full-time, two-year fixed-term basis. This role is remote with regular travel.

As the Modernisation Programme Manager, you will play a key role in driving and delivering the Campus Modernisation Programme across the UK region. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Operations, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills, possess relevant qualifications, and have a proven background in the building industry for delivering a range of high-value, multi-disciplined projects aligned with strategic objectives.

Your leadership style and relationship-building skills will improve project governance and productivity, while fostering innovative thinking and continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Experience working effectively with multiple stakeholders in a proactive, autonomous manner.

Key responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and lead multiple construction projects across the UK, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Manage project lifecycles from conception to completion, establishing clear methodologies and governance.
  • Implement agile change management processes to track and manage change requests and impacts.
  • Ensure projects comply with UK regulations and laws.
  • Implement quality control and continuous improvement processes to meet standards and address nonconformities.
  • Identify risks proactively and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage project expenses within approved budgets.
  • Analyze cost variations and implement corrective actions as needed.
