We have an exciting opportunity at OneSchool Global UK Swaffham Campus for an exceptional Home Tutor to support a student who is currently unable to access full-time education due to medical, physical or mental health needs. Based in the Norwich area, you will provide personalised one-to-one educational support within the student's home environment in Lowestoft, whilst maintaining regular liaison with and attendance at Swaffham Campus. Working closely with the student, their family, campus staff and external professionals, you will deliver a tailored educational programme that promotes academic progress, confidence, independence and wellbeing. As a Home Tutor, you will deliver engaging and personalised learning programmes that support both academic progress and personal development. You will adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs, monitor progress, and work collaboratively with families, campus colleagues and external professionals to ensure positive outcomes. The successful candidate will be confident working autonomously within a home environment, building positive relationships whilst maintaining high professional standards. Experience supporting students with medical needs, physical disabilities, SEND requirements or other barriers to education would be advantageous. This role would suit an individual who values building meaningful relationships, enjoys working independently, and is motivated by seeing the direct impact their support can have on a young person's education, wellbeing and future opportunities. Whilst primarily based within the student's home, you will be fully supported by the wider OneSchool Global network, with access to curriculum resources, educational technology, professional development opportunities and specialist expertise. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality personalised tuition and learning support. Plan and adapt learning programmes to meet individual educational, medical and wellbeing needs. Monitor, assess and report on student progress and engagement. Support the development of confidence, resilience and self-directed learning skills. Work collaboratively with campus staff, families and external professionals. Maintain accurate records and contribute to educational reviews. Create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment. Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, risk assessment and lone-working procedures. Attend relevant meetings and professional development activities. About You The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Hold a degree qualification. Have recent experience teaching English and/or Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Demonstrate a good understanding of the National Curriculum and GCSE examination specifications. Have experience delivering personalised learning programmes and adapting teaching approaches to meet individual student needs. Demonstrate knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and inclusive educational practice. Be comfortable supporting students with medical, physical, emotional or mental health needs. Have experience using digital learning technologies to support teaching and learning. Be resilient, organised and confident working independently within a home-based setting. Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Have a strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and Keeping Children Safe in Education. Demonstrate professionalism, discretion and sound judgement when working within a student's home environment.
