Job Description
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Teacher to join our Hindhead campus on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference to the lives of young people with additional learning needs.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons to individual students and small groups, helping each learner achieve their full potential.
The role also involves assessing and monitoring pupil progress, identifying next steps, and supporting students on the SEND register, particularly those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Working closely with colleagues, families and external professionals, you will help create a nurturing and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have experience working with children across a range of key stages, including supporting learners with severe and moderate learning difficulties.
You will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree or equivalent qualification.
We're looking for a passionate and adaptable educator who is committed to inclusive education and confident in tailoring learning to meet individual needs.
You will be comfortable moving beyond traditional classroom teaching practices and embracing innovative approaches, including the use of educational technology, online learning resources and video conferencing tools.
Experience of supporting students with SEND and a strong understanding of EHCPs would be highly advantageous.
