Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Ashbrook Campus
We have the opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our Ashbrook Campus on a full‑time, permanent basis from January 2026. The campus is a brand new OSG campus featuring state‑of‑the‑art facilities and cutting‑edge technology, ensuring that both online and face‑to‑face classes are outstandingly catered for. The facility will represent OSG’s ambitions as a leading global school, supporting the implementation of our signature pedagogy – the Learning to Learn framework.
Responsibilities
- Complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.
- Collaborate with teachers in joint planning and deliver learning activities for individuals, groups, or whole classes across all year groups.
- Deliver specific time‑limited interventions in small groups or 1:1 settings.
- Implement national curriculum and relevant learning programmes and strategies.
- Support statutory frameworks relating to teaching and learning.
Qualifications
- Previous experience delivering time‑limited interventions in small groups or 1:1.
- Full working knowledge of relevant current policies, codes of practice and legislation.
- Experience working with children of the relevant age in a learning environment.
- Working knowledge of implementing national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes and strategies.
- Understanding of statutory frameworks relating to teaching and learning.
- Meet Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards or equivalent qualification or experience (NVQ Level 4/5).
