About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum for GCSE Food & Nutrition and related exam specifications. Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree or equivalent qualification are essential, as is recent experience teaching students at KS3 and KS4 levels. The ability to adapt from traditional classroom methods to modern, technology-driven teaching approaches—including Zoom and online resources.
Responsibilities
Teach Food & Nutrition to KS3 and KS4 students in a part-time capacity; plan and deliver curriculum aligned to the National Curriculum; adapt lessons to incorporate technology and modern teaching tools.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- Recent experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Knowledge of GCSE Food & Nutrition curriculum and assessments.
- Experience with technology-driven teaching, including Zoom and other online resources.
