At Cyfarthfa High School, we are seeking to appoint a Deputy Head of Science to join our dedicated team. This exciting opportunity has arisen following the promotion of the previous post holder to the Senior Leadership Team and reflects our strong commitment to developing leadership talent from within the school.
Working closely with the Head of Science, the successful candidate will play an important role in the leadership and ongoing development of the department. This will include supporting high-quality teaching and learning, contributing to curriculum and departmental improvement, supporting colleagues, and helping to raise standards and outcomes for pupils across Science.
We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who is passionate about their subject, ambitious for young people, and keen to develop their leadership experience. The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire and support colleagues, contribute positively to the strategic direction of the department, and help ensure that all pupils are given the opportunity to achieve their potential.
