OneSchool Global UK Ashbrook Campus is seeking a motivated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support students both academically and personally, helping them develop the confidence and skills they need to thrive.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SENDCo to provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs. You will play a key role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student can flourish.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with additional needs.
- Supporting students within lessons to help them access the curriculum and engage in learning.
- Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning programmes and interventions.
- Encouraging independence, confidence and resilience among students.
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
- Promoting positive behaviour and supporting student wellbeing.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external professionals to ensure students receive the support they need.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy and a genuine commitment to supporting student success.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can build strong and positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Is organised, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Has experience supporting students with SEND (desirable but not essential).
- Holds a relevant qualification in Education, Childcare or Learning Support (desirable but not essential).
