The Branch Network prides itself with being the brand representative on the high street. Our 6 branches are advocates for providing a superior customer experience and to support our customers to achieve their savings goals.
What you will be doing?
As Customer Service Assistant, you will have the opportunity to deliver a consistently high standard of customer service whilst completing various banking transactions in our Canterbury Branch. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building rapport face to face with our customers in a busy branch environment
- Accurately processing transactions and amendments on various types of savings accounts, such as:
- Deposits and withdrawals
- Faster payments/CHAPS
- Amending account/customer details
- Registering bereavements/Power of attorneys
- Handling large sums of cash
- Opening new savings accounts
- Carrying out the daily banking within the branch
- Overseeing G4S cash collections and deliveries
- Identifying and supporting our vulnerable customers
- Supporting customers wishing to provide feedback or raise a complaint
The hours of work will be 35 hours per week to be worked between Monday β Friday 9am β 5pm, plus a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month from 9am β 12.30pm. Time back in lieu will be given for Saturdays worked.
