As part of our busy and collaborative Underwriting team, you’ll play a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a fast‑paced, energetic environment where your organisation, attention to detail, and team spirit will make a real difference to both our colleagues and broker partners. You’ll be at the centre of the action, supporting the underwriting team and intermediaries by ensuring key administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, helping to drive our pipeline forward and deliver a seamless customer journey.

As an Underwriting Admin Assistant you will have the opportunity to provide a high level of support to underwriters & intermediaries. Ensuring that the daily activities in the Underwriting team are processed and administered correctly and in line with agreed SLAs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Aiding in the administration of a busy underwriting department and assist the Team in providing excellent service to mortgage intermediaries.
  • Typing, collating, and issuing mortgage offers to Customers and Solicitors.
  • Undertaking data entry and allocation of post to Underwriters.
  • Performing practical administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and checking documents.
  • Taking of Valuation fees and keying valuation instructions.
  • Dealing with monthly invoicing queries/transactions using Pro‑actis system.

We offer a base salary dependent on experience between £24,550‑£25,550 and a competitive benefits package including:
