About the team

The Broker Liaison Team at Interbay, Fareham is one of three Broker Liaison Teams in OSB. The other two being based in Chatham (covering Rely) and Wolverhampton (covering Precise Mortgages), and is part of the bigger Sales Team in OSB Group. All three teams work very closely with each other delivering a similar service but across our three main lending streams covering Residential, Buy-to-Let and Commercial mortgages. Interbay is the Commercial element.

The Interbay team is based at Forum 4 of the Solent Business Park in Whiteley, Fareham and consists of one team leader, four Broker Liaison Co‑ordinators and two Case Update Assistants. The main role of the team is to be the liaison point between mortgage Broker’s and our Underwriting and Completions teams on behalf of the borrowing customer.

What you will be doing?

As a Case Update Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting the broker journey, acting as a central point of contact for mortgage intermediaries requiring updates on applications in progress. You will provide timely and accurate information, resolve queries, and work closely with underwriting and completions teams to help progress cases efficiently. Your responsibilities will include…

  • Handling inbound calls from mortgage intermediaries regarding cases in progress (pre‑ and post‑offer).
  • Responding to broker queries across multiple channels, including phone and email.
  • Providing clear, accurate, and timely updates on application status.
  • Liaising with internal teams, including Underwriting and Completions, to progress cases.
  • Ensuring all activities are processed in line with agreed SLAs.
