You will be operating in a competitive, fast-moving market alongside established global payment providers, where execution and commercial clarity make the difference. We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to build and scale partnerships and merchant relationships across the UK and Europe. You will be responsible for originating and closing new business across both partnerships and merchants, focusing on digital-first and cross-border businesses.
You will work with a range of payment solutions and commercial models, requiring the ability to position complex offerings in a clear and commercially relevant way. We’re looking for someone who can build pipeline independently, structure compelling commercial propositions, and take deals from initial engagement through to close.
- Own and close strategic partnerships with fintechs, SaaS platforms, and digital businesses, structuring commercial models (e.g. revenue share, pricing frameworks) that drive scalable revenue.
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline across the UK and EU, prioritising partners and merchants with multi-merchant distribution potential.
- Lead the full sales cycle end-to-end, from prospecting and pitching through to solution design, commercial structuring, and closing.
- Work closely with product, compliance, and operations to ensure deals are executable and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Develop market presence through industry engagement, partnerships, and targeted outreach.
- Contribute insights to pricing, product development, and go-to-market strategy.
Exposure to sectors such as gaming, travel, or other complex cross-border verticals is advantageous.
3–6 years of B2B sales or BD experience in payments, fintech, or SaaS.
Commercial awareness with the ability to structure and negotiate deals.
