About The Role

We are seeking an SEO Manager to own the vision, strategy, and execution of Oner Active’s organic discovery initiatives across search, social search, and emerging AI-powered platforms. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how customers find and engage with our brand, whether through traditional search engines, AI Overviews, LLMs, or generative answer engines. This role is about more than keyword rankings: you’ll drive measurable revenue impact, elevate brand visibility, and future-proof our search strategy in a fast-evolving landscape. As our SEO leader, you’ll guide the technical, on-site, and content foundations that strengthen authority, improve discoverability, and maximise performance across all organic surfaces.

Senior Leadership

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Define and deliver Oner Active’s long-term SEO vision across traditional search, AI-driven discovery, and social search channels.
  • Set measurable goals for organic traffic, visibility, revenue contribution, GEO performance, and share of voice, reporting progress to senior leadership.
  • Champion innovation, applying a test-and-learn mindset to ensure we stay ahead of evolving search trends, LLM behaviours, and platform updates.

Organic Revenue Growth & Performance

  • Drive incremental revenue by optimising category, product, and content performance across our 7 websites.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on organic-driven revenue, breaking down insights by search type (classic search, AI Overviews, social search, generative engines).
  • Identify commercial opportunities, trends, risks, and competitive gaps using keyword visibility, SERP feature analysis, and performance forecasting.

Technical SEO Ownership

  • Conduct regular technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site speed, Core Web Vitals, structured data, canonicalisation, and hreflang.
  • Own foundational SEO elements including sitemaps, robots.txt, indexing logic, schema markup, and internal linking strategy.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to scope, prioritise, and deliver technical SEO improvements and platform optimisation.

Content, On-Page & Category Optimisation

  • Lead keyword research, entity mapping, and search intent analysis across PDPs, PLPs, editorial content, and new launches.
  • Optimise metadata, headers, copy, internal linking, and page structure to improve discoverability and conversion.
  • Create SEO briefs for landing pages, blog content, FAQs, and campaigns, ensuring E-E-A-T, structured information, and user intent alignment.
  • Analyse SERP features, People Also Ask, and category-level opportunities to inform the content roadmap.
  • Partner with UX/UI, brand, and merchandising teams to ensure SEO is embedded into product storytelling and customer journey design.

Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)

  • Monitor emerging answer-engine surfaces (Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, Perplexity, ChatGPT search, etc.) to understand ranking, citation, and authority signals.
  • Optimise both onsite and offsite content to increase the likelihood of Oner Active being referenced or cited in AI-led answers.
  • Build and maintain a prompt library to test brand queries, identify misinformation risks, and uncover new optimisation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with PR, social, partnerships, and influencer teams to strengthen third-party authority signals.
  • Create GEO dashboards to track impressions, citations, and traffic coming from generative engines, integrating this into the wider organic reporting framework.

Multi-Search & Social Search Expansion

  • Develop strategies to grow visibility on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and other discovery-first platforms.
  • Partner with Social & Creative teams to ensure content aligns with platform SERPs, trending keywords, and search behaviour.
  • Identify cross-platform discoverability opportunities, bridging classic SEO with broader organic discoverability.

Data & Insights

  • Leverage SEO tools (Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, SEOmonitor, GSC, GA4, Adobe Analytics) to measure performance and predict trends.
  • Define and maintain KPIs for SEO, GEO, social search, SERP visibility, and organic revenue contribution.
  • Work closely with analytics teams to build SEO dashboards, GEO tracking, and quarterly competitive and RFM-style discovery analysis.
  • Translate insights into clear, actionable strategies for continuous optimisation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, product, engineering, creative, merchandising, CX, and social teams to deliver a consistent, high-impact organic experience.
  • Align SEO initiatives with product launches, campaigns, activations, and trading priorities.
  • Ensure SEO is embedded early in product and content workflows.

Vendor & Tool Management

  • Oversee relationships with SEO technology platforms, agencies, content partners, and tool providers.
  • Own the SEO budget, ensuring maximum ROI and efficient allocation of resources.
  • Evaluate new tools, workflows, and AI technologies that can enhance organic performance.

You’ll Need To Have

  • 5+ years’ experience in SEO, ideally in DTC, ecommerce, or premium consumer brands.
  • Proven success driving organic growth across technical SEO, content strategy, and multi-search channels.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into strategy.
  • Deep understanding of keyword research, entity optimisation, and content performance.
