About You
We are looking for a strategic People Partner who will play a critical role in recruiting top talent and supporting the overall People & Culture strategy at Oner Active. Despite being a generalist, this role will be responsible for owning the recruitment process. You will also get involved in a variety of other people’s functions, such as onboarding and employee relations to compliance and performance management. You’ll work closely with our leadership team and employees to help foster a positive, high-performance culture in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role where you’ll be expected to juggle multiple priorities, provide strategic support on people-related matters, and have a direct impact on growing our diverse team. We’re looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, is comfortable with change, and has a passion for fitness and wellbeing.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the full recruitment lifecycle for various roles across the business, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires
- Developing and executing innovative talent sourcing strategies to attract diverse and high-quality candidates
- Working closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, role requirements, and ensure a seamless recruitment process
- Creating a strong employer brand that aligns with Oner Active’s mission and values, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
- Acting as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on all people-related matters including performance
- Ensuring compliance with all HR legislation and labor laws, staying up to date on any relevant changes
- Supporting the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive company culture
- Partnering with our external payroll provider and finance team to deliver monthly payroll accurately and seamlessly
- Driving and facilitating employee training programs and internal communications to support team development
- Ensuring Oner Active is compliant with local and international HR laws, including employment contracts, payroll, benefits, and labor regulations
- Monitoring employee policies, benefits, and legal requirements, advising the team on best practices
- Assisting in the creation and review of HR documentation, including employee handbooks and policies
- Championing the development of a thriving, collaborative, and inclusive culture that reflects our values and commitment to high performance and wellbeing
- Supporting leadership in building out the organisation’s structure, workflows, and talent pipeline as the company grows
- Being an advocate for change management, helping the team navigate the evolving nature of a startup environment
- Other adhoc support as required
You’ll need to have:
- 3 – 5 year experience in a people partner role or the equivalent proven experience
- Solid knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements
- Highly adaptable and flexible in your approach to people management and problem-solving
- Energetic, self-driven, and motivated by the opportunity to make an impact
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and process improvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail
- Experience in managing recruitment and onboarding processes from start to finish
- Ability to analyse and interpret HR data to influence decision-making
- Coaching and mentoring skills, particularly in leadership development
- A passion for fitness, wellness, and fostering a positive, healthy work culture
