Role: eCommerce Merchandising Coordinator
Reports into: Digital Trading Executive
Contract Type: Full Time, working 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week
Location: Hybrid, working 3 days a week in our offices based in Old Street, London
About the Team: The Digital Trade Team at Oner Active sits at the heart of our online growth strategy. We are responsible for driving commercial performance across our seven web shops, combining data insight, trading acumen, and customer understanding to deliver exceptional online experiences that convert. Working closely with marketing, merchandising, and web teams, we own the digital customer journey, from home page to checkout. Whether it’s optimising conversion rates, launching campaigns, or analysing trading performance, we move fast, test constantly, and never stop looking for the next opportunity to drive growth.
About You: The eCommerce Merchandiser Coordinator supports the online trading and merchandising strategy by ensuring products are accurately presented, optimised, and aligned with commercial goals. This role plays a key part in driving online sales, enhancing the customer journey, and maintaining the overall quality of the seven websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the daily site walk, ensuring all seven websites are fully optimised, error-free, and aligned with trading priorities.
- Ensure all product data (descriptions, images, attributes) is accurate and up to date.
- Own and execute product launches, seasonal updates, and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct daily QA checks and ensure all launches are fully tested before going live.
- Identify and resolve issues impacting customer experience (e.g. broken links, out-of-stock visibility, incorrect pricing).
- React quickly to trading performance, stock changes, and commercial priorities, implementing same-day updates where needed.
- Manage product categorisation, navigation, and on-site merchandising to drive conversion.
- Optimise on-site search, ranking, and merchandising rules via Algolia to improve product discoverability and search conversion.
- Monitor website performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve conversion and revenue.
- Support global ecommerce strategy across regions, currencies, and time zones.
You’ll need to have Key Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- 1+ years experience within Algolia platform.
- Experience in eCommerce, digital merchandising, or online retail.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, GA4, Nosto).
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
