About You
We're looking for someone who has owned and managed the operational systems that a fast-growing fashion, activewear or direct-to-consumer (DTC) business depends on. You will have experience supporting the technology ecosystem that sits behind a retail business, including the ERP (finance and inventory), e-commerce platform, in-store POS system and the warehouse and logistics integrations that connect them. Ideally, you'll have gained this experience within a high-growth fashion, activewear or lifestyle brand where speed, agility and continuous improvement are essential.
This is not a general IT support or infrastructure role. We're not looking for experience focused on desktop support, cybersecurity, networking, hardware or shop-floor retail operations. Instead, we're looking for someone who understands how operational systems work together to enable the business to trade successfully.
The strongest candidates will demonstrate:
- Experience with systems such as NetSuite ERP, Shopify and a retail POS platform.
- Experience supporting 3PL, WMS and systems integrations.
- Hands-on involvement in system implementations, testing (SIT/UAT) and go-live activities.
- The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions across multiple stakeholders.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for automation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day health and performance of our operational systems, including NetSuite ERP, Shopify, Teamwork Commerce, eCom360, 3PL/WMS integrations and Narvar.
- Gather business requirements and translate operational needs into technical solutions.
- Define business processes and map data flows across ERP, e-commerce, warehouse and retail systems.
- Write technical specifications and manage delivery between internal stakeholders and external development partners.
- Own the automation roadmap, identifying opportunities to eliminate manual processes through workflow automation.
- Build, maintain and monitor automations using modern integration and automation tools.
- Design and maintain a structured, AI-ready knowledge base, ensuring documentation is accurate, accessible and scalable.
- Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new functionality and system enhancements.
- Coordinate cutover planning and support successful go-live activities.
- Provide post-implementation support, monitoring system performance and proactively resolving integration issues.
- Configure systems natively where appropriate, including Saved Searches, workflows, dashboards, custom fields and UI enhancements within NetSuite and related platforms.
- Deliver training and documentation to ensure operational teams can confidently use business systems.
What You'll Be Responsible For
You will become the internal subject matter expert for the systems that support Oner Active's operations. People across Finance, Operations, Merchandising, Retail and Digital will come to you for guidance on system functionality, process improvements and troubleshooting. Act as the key liaison between business teams and external technology partners. Own automation as a core capability, removing repetitive manual tasks wherever possible. Use AI tools to accelerate documentation, reporting, technical specifications, testing and solution design. Build and maintain high-quality operational documentation that supports both employees and future AI agents. Provide reporting and analytical support to Finance and Merchandising through accurate dashboards, saved searches and operational insights.
You need to have
- 3-5 years' experience in a Systems, Operations Technology or Internal Tools role within a fast-growing fashion, activewear, beauty, lifestyle or DTC e-commerce business.
- Strong experience with NetSuite ERP, Shopify and retail POS platforms.
- Experience supporting 3PL and WMS integrations.
- Experience working with middleware or systems integration platforms.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier or similar.
- Experience delivering system implementations, upgrades and enhancements.
- Strong business analysis and process mapping skills.
- Experience producing technical specifications and managing delivery with third-party partners.
- Experience leading SIT, UAT and go-live activities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience within premium fashion, activewear or lifestyle brands.
- Experience creating AI-ready documentation in Notion, Loom or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel retail operations.
- Demonstrable use of AI tools to improve productivity and operational delivery.
- Experience configuring NetSuite, including Saved Searches, dashboards, workflows and custom fields.
