About you:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to support the financial operations of both our US and UK entities. This role involves hands-on transactional finance work, month-end support, data accuracy checks, and administrative tasks related to audits, fixed assets, and compliance. The ideal candidate is proactive, confident with numbers, and comfortable working across multiple systems and international teams.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Financial Systems & Reconciliation: Working with the finance team to assist reconciling transactions in Xero and QuickBooks and ensure all coding is accurate and consistent. Assist with maintaining financial data integrity across Xero, QuickBooks, and supporting platforms including Payhawk.
- Month-End Support: Support month-end close all entities, including organising monthly data in a user-friendly, structured format. Support in the set up with Payhawk & process improvements as we move to a more streamline PO system.
- Inbox & Communication Support: Monitor billing inboxes and provide support for US & UK email queries when required. Communicate confidently with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries.
- Audit & Compliance: Assist with audit tasks, including maintaining audit trails, completing administrative follow-up items (MLPs), and supporting auditors with documentation requests. Assist with the implementation of new policies and procedures, including assisting with formal documentation of these.
You’ll need to have:
- AAT Level 3 & 4 qualified (or equivalent).
- Experience with Xero and QuickBooks is highly beneficial.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (formulas, data organisation, analysis).
- Confident and clear communicator.
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and core accounting principles.
- Experience with Payhawk is desirable.
- Familiarity with Shopify is desirable.
