Our Finance Team
The Finance Team at Oner Active plays a vital role in supporting the business by providing financial insights and analysis to inform key stakeholder decisions. As a small, fast-paced team, we collaborate closely with all functions across the organisation. With the company’s rapid growth over the past four years and the recent establishment of our US entity, we are now seeking an additional team member to assist the Senior Finance Manager in meeting increased reporting requirements.
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You bring strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine interest in understanding the broader business. You’re comfortable working independently as well as part of a team, and you’re eager to grow within a rapidly expanding company.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Prepare and file Avalara tax returns; respond to related queries in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with payroll reporting processes and ensure timely submission of payroll payments
- Compile and submit reports required by the Office for National Statistics (ONS)
- Support group-level cash flow reporting by providing accurate and timely data
- Liaise with external UK bookkeeper to ensure accurate and timely completion of quarterly VAT returns
- Collaborate with the US bookkeeper to resolve queries and assist with the management of US transactions in QuickBooks
- Prepare and provide detailed sales reports to US accountants to support financial analysis and compliance
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and work closely with external auditors as required
- Support on the implementation and testing of a new ERP system, Netsuite
- Support on monthly intercompany reconciliations and implementation of new transfer pricing model across the full corporate structure
- Responsibility for maintaining the fixed asset register and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
You’ll need to have:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
- Experience with international accounting practices, especially US and UK financial operations
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero and MS Excel; familiarity with Avalara is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with external stakeholders
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Netsuite experience preferable
