OnePoll is a leading online market research and polling company based in London and Bristol, working with hundreds of companies to help fulfil their research requirements – specifically online quantitative surveys. Once trained, you will manage market research projects from inception to completion.
OnePollis looking for a Junior Market Research Executive to join their busy Bristol team. The role will involve two days a week in their Bristol office with additional office days when required. You would be working as part of a highly dedicated, hardworking team when in the office. When working remotely, there is team virtual chat and virtual meetings to keep in touch with everyone.
OnePoll is part of PR Agency 72Point. OnePoll is an MRS Company Partner with membership to ESOMAR and The British Polling Council.
Supporting the PR creative and sales teams, the role is mainly PC/admin based; managing market research projects from inception to reporting.
You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of quantitative research, ideally online.
With a minimum of a GCSE in English, you will probably also have: a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. Consumer psychology, statistics, data science, neuroscience, marketing or social sciences) and you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Native or fully bilingual UK English is vital.
You will be working across departments in each of our locations and with great clients across a wide range of sectors. If you enjoy getting stuck in and working to deadlines in a dynamic working environment with individuals from both a research and creative background – then this could be the ideal role for you. Training will be offered, both from our own highly experienced team and externally from the MRS.
To become a Junior Market Research Executive, you will need to be/ have:
- Educated to a degree Level (ideally in a subject with a research or stats based module)
- Strong Math and English skills (GCSE grade A-C or above)
- Excellent time management/organisational and problem solving skills
- Able to work quickly under pressure, in a responsible role
- Strong PC based skills, including knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft Office – especially Excel
- Be fully conversant in using the Internet and web
- An eye for detail and able to follow instructions
Other desirable skills:
- Experience in using Q or SPSS
- Questionnaire design
- Statistics knowledge and/or training
- A research ‘specialism’ e.g. Conjoint analysis, Max Differential testing, Neuroscience, forecasting, etc.
- Good presentation skills
