We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join our growing and successful Transport & Logistics client, Euro SDB Ltd. This is a permanent, full-time position with a finishing time dependent on the business needs.
As the Transport Manager your involvement will include management of vehicle maintenance, driver and vehicle compliance and health & safety.
Role & Responsibilities as Transport Manager:
- Overseeing the maintenance plan for all vehicles within our fleet
- Management of in-house vehicle inspections
- Control over the vehicle repairs budget
- Site management as required
- Tachograph analysis and management of driver performance
In order to be considered you will need the following:
- Experience operating at a Transport Manager level for a number of years.
- General exposure to Transport Planning and Depot Management would be beneficial.
- Hold a CPC.
- Proven track record of maintaining and improving upon H&S standards and procedures.
- Experience working for a Logistics & Distribution business, pallet distribution would be beneficial.
In return, we are able to offer a competitive salary between £35,000-£40,000 per annum dependent on experience.
