One Place Solutions are currently looking for Transport Admin Clerks for our client based at Tamworth. Our client are a leading distributor for car parts in the UK & Europe.
As a Transport Admin Clerk you will be responsible for the following daily tasks:
Job Duties
- Inputting inbound & outbound driver details into system.
- First point of contact both in office and on phone.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to details.
- Brief and debrief drivers at the start and finish of shifts.
- Good communication skills in person, via telephone and radio.
- Previous experience of using Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel essential, as simple but accurate data entry is required to update records.
- Ensure driver bags are complete with keys/paperwork and update if necessary
- Communicate any issues via email to branch network or to management, escalate any serious issues directly to management.
- Previous transport knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- Liaising with drivers on routes and providing guidance.
- Communicating with management daily.
