OnePlace Solutions are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client based in Dordon. The client is a long-standing automotive parts supplier who are looking for experienced drivers to join their team. We have roles available for FULL TIME 50 hours per week OR Fridays / Sundays only!

The driver must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a class 1 role. This role involves:

  • 3-5 drops per shift, including opening up small sites and controlling the alarms before dropping the goods.
  • Loading and unloading goods efficiently, ensuring securement according to safety standards.
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Planning routes effectively to optimise delivery times while adhering to legal driving hours.
  • Communicating with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered on the road.
  • Ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Assisting with general vehicle maintenance tasks as required to ensure optimal operation.
