Are you a hands on, practical person who enjoys building, assembling and working with machinery? We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Workshop Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the assembly and preparation of pumping systems, including sewage and surface water pumping stations, ensuring products are built to a high standard before dispatch to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling mechanical components and equipment
- Using a range of hand and power tools
- Reading and working from technical drawings and instructions
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Identifying and resolving basic mechanical issues
- Ensuring products are completed to the required specification
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Working as part of a wider production and engineering team
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am until 5pm.
Location: Ilkeston, DE7 area.
Pay Rate: Between £12.71-£13.50 per hour based on experience.
