Transport Clerk in Stoke-on-Trent

OnePlace Solutions are currently looking for Transport Admin Clerks for our client based at Tamworth. Our client are a leading distributor for car parts in the UK & Europe.

As a Transport Admin Clerk you will be responsible for the following daily tasks:

\n

Job Duties:

\n

\n
• Inputting inbound & outbound driver details into system.

\n

• First point of contact both in office and on phone.

\n

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to details.

\n

• Brief and debrief drivers at the start and finish of shifts.

\n

• Good communication skills in person, via telephone and radio.

\n

• Previous experience of using Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel essential, as simple but accurate data entry is required to update records.

\n

• Ensure driver bags are complete with keys/paperwork and update if necessary

\n

• Communicate any issues via email to branch network or to management, escalate any serious issues directly to management.

\n

• Previous transport knowledge is desirable but not essential.

\n

• Liaising with drivers on routes and providing guidance.

\n

• Communicating with management daily.

\n

• Printing and completing basic admin duties.

\n\n

Hours of Work:

\n

\n
• Monday to Friday

\n

• 21:30pm until 6am

\n\n

Salary:

\n
• £30,000 Salary

\n\n
