Are you a hands on, practical person who enjoys building, assembling and working with machinery?
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Workshop Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the assembly and preparation of pumping systems, including sewage and surface water pumping stations, ensuring products are built to a high standard before dispatch to customers.
Responsibilities :
Assembling mechanical components and equipment
Using a range of hand and power tools
Reading and working from technical drawings and instructions
Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process
Identifying and resolving basic mechanical issues
Ensuring products are completed to the required specification
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Working as part of a wider production and engineering team
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30am until 5pm.
Location:
Ilkeston, DE7 area.
Pay Rate:
Between £12.71-£13.50 per hour based on experience.
