One Place Solutions are currently recruiting for a Machine Setter for our client based in Coleshill, B46. Our client is forever growing and is looking to expand their current team.
Job Duties:
- Setting machinery to bend galvanized steel.
- Use of mini cranes to load steel onto a Flexo machine.
- Feeding steel through the machine whilst having a high level of attention to detail.
- Use of Verniers & Gauges to measure specification of product.
- Conducting routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Can work on up to 3 machines at the same time once fully trained.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate would have great mechanical/engineering experience and have previous experience working with galvanized steel.
Hours of Work:
Working Monday to Friday. Training on night shift, 10pm until 6am for up to 6 months. Once trained you will be on 6am until 2:15pm rotating to 2pm until 10:15pm.
Salary:
The salary for this role is between £33,000-£34,500.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of metal bending, setting of any metal trimmers or moulders would be beneficial due to how complicated the machinery can be.
- Fully flexible due to the hours of the shift & training hours.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience is a must due to the nature of the role.
- You MUST have a minimum of 2 years experience with steels and mechanical knowledge.
