We are seeking a skilled Punch Machine Operator to join our well Established client in Nuneaton. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic fabrication environment, supporting the production of high-quality metal parts. Responsibilities Set up and operate punch machines to produce accurate sheet metal components according to specifications. Adjust machine settings and tooling to accommodate different materials and dimensions. Monitor machine operation, ensuring smooth functioning and quality output throughout production runs. Remove finished parts and transfer them to the next stage of production or storage area. Inspect finished components for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to reduce safety hazards. Record production data, including quantities, time logs, and material usage, as required and marking off finished goods on the production list. Requirements Proven experience in fabrication, sheet metal work, or operating punch machines is highly desirable. Previous experience with operating a punch machine is desired but not essential. Strong understanding of mechanical principles related to tooling, assembly, and basic maths for measurements. The ability to lift and move heavy materials up to 25kg Mut be able to work in a noisy and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
