OnePlace Solutions are seeking reliable and skilled Forklift Counterbalance Drivers to join their team based in Burton Upon Trent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading of freight in a pallet network environment. This role requires a strong understanding of a pallet network and the ability to handle various freight with a fast paced method.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operating Forklift Counterbalance Trucks loading and unloading heavy goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including shipping and receiving documentation.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles, including equipment repair as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of goods and efficient warehouse processes.
- Meet weekly targets and work as a team to ensure safe distribution of goods.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday working, 6pm to 3am
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour, rising to 37k-40k per year once perm
Experience Needed: Up to 2 years previous experience in a Forklift Counterbalance Driving role ideally within a pallet network but not essential. In date, accredited Forklift Counterbalance License.
